ÖFA: S-kongress

Imorgon ska vi vara med och ge lite kulturell air till sossekongressen. Vi ska fixa en interaktiv pysselstation där vi ifrågasätter normerna. Ur programbladet: "Under S-kongressen får du möjlighet att sätta färg på politikervärlden. I ÖFA:s interaktiva konstverk "Pimpa din politiker" får du agera stylist och vända upp och ner på alla normer för hur en politiker bör - och får se ut."

Medan politikerna pysslar får de se på bildspel och film.

ÖFA: ENGLISH

ÖFA is a feminist collective created in 2003. The ÖFA collective acts as a personal support and discussion group, as well as a creative and professional network for its 24 members. Consisting of professional dancers, journalists and teachers, social workers and musicians, the ÖFA collective offers a wide range of productions and art forms – both for stage, in text and for workshops.

ÖFA has its hangout/office/rehearsal space in "BAS" in Bandhagen where they, together with a number of other artists, renovated and built their own platform, so they could create art during all the hours of the day. At BAS ÖFA has presented evenings like "ÖFA: Right Now! – Film & Biscuits" where various films produced by ÖFA members were screened, including "Circulo Vicioso" which won the Tempo’s Sthlm: Doc prize this year.


After the celebrated "Please Take a Seat!", the 24 members produced another collage show: the “ÖFA: Spring Concert”. Together, they have attracted attention around the Swedish theater and festival venues, including Teater 3, Dramaten and Södra teatern, as well as the Arvika Festival, where they performed in 2008, EuroPride and the theater Biennale in Lund. "ÖFA: Spring Concert" and its precursor were both created to question ideas, provide food for thought and inspire. While performing these tasks ÖFA always searches into new themes to affect the viewer – softly, deeply, lightly and ardently.

The work of the ÖFA collective is based on the principle that different experiences and art forms are best explored simultaneously. The audience can always count on text, music, dance, photography, film and audio being combined to create shows that burn and pep up – collages created by 24 brains, hearts and other organs.

ÖFA kommer att medverka på de bästa dagarna under festivalen, nämligen den första och den sista! Vi återkommer om information om avslutningskvällen som sker i ÖFA:s regi, vi kan lova att ni kommer att längta och sukta när vi släpper programmet för den kvällen, men hela veckan kommer naturligtvis bli grym!

På invigningskvällen händer följande:

Perfect Performance – Stockholms internationella teaterfestival. 23-31 oktober fylls Stockholms scener med tolv internationella gästspel, några av de mest omtalade uppsättningarna i Europa.
Fredag 23 oktober öppnar vi festivalen med dunder, brak, performance, videoinstallation, stjärnglans och party!

INVIGNINGSKVÄLL PÅ DANSENS HUS:

18.00- ca 20.30
Drop-in-mingel med tysk/brittiska Gob Squad som bjuder på glammiga foajéperformancen; ”Who Are You Wearing?” Videoinstallation av Eva Meyer-Keller, performance av Katarina Nitsch, interaktiva spelet ”Jägare” av Alexis Holmqvist och trumpetaren Jonas Lindeborg framför kl. 20.00 en svit av Purcell för piccolatrumpet.

18.00-ca 20.00 Lilla scen
EVA MEYER-KELLER “SHATTENSPIELE”
Meyer-Keller från tyskland gör performance, organiserar festivaler, utvecklar projekt och gör videokonst. ”Schattenspiele” är en lek, ett spel där publiken deltar. Och brilliant teater.

20.30-21.30 Stora scen
RODRIGO GARCÍA “APROXIMACIÓN A LA IDEA DE DESCONFIANZA”
García är spansk dramatiker och regissör som gör något av det spetsigaste, farligaste, mest provokativa och vackraste man kan se just nu.
I “Aproximación a la idea de desconfianza” ingår bland annat pas de deux med hönor, kroppar insmorda med honung och en hel skock blodiga människor i en hög på scenen.

Fest med barhäng, dansgolv, Carl Olof Berg i DJ-båset, danceoke med ÖFA, och Germanie & Polly -kvinnorna bakom Montys Loco och Tantkillen överraskar sig själva.

Kom och fira med bubbel och performance.

Finally, the Perfect festival is soon here. Perfect Performance – Stockholms international theater festival will during October 23-31 host some of Europe’s most talked about performances.

We want to celebrate and share the opening night with you. We have the great honor to present Eva Meyer-Kellers “Schattenspiele” a game were you are invited to play, and of course brilliant theater. Rodrigo Garcia, Spanish playwright and director, which creates performances with an edge, danger, provocation and beauty.

The opening night starts at 18.00 with Gob Squad’s glowing performance “Who Are You Wearing?”, sparkle, performance by Katarina Nitsch, the game “Hunter” by Alexis Holmqvist, videoinstallation by Eva Meyer-Keller and more.

The night ends with a smashing party with dancefloor, bar, DJ Carl Olof Berg, danceoke led by ÖFA and live music by Germanie & Polly.
